An original production cel from the Disney Studios gorgeous animated film, "Sleeping Beauty" (1959). Featuring a beautiful full image of Prince Phillip dismounting off his noble steed, Samson, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Prince Phillip was designed and animated by Disney Legend Milt Kahl, who worked tirelessly to make the character interesting and likable. Measuring 12.5"x16" overall, with the character image measuring 6"x2.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor wear.
