An original layout drawing from a Fleischer Studios animated 1940's short. Featuring a fabulous illustration of a Paul Revere character warning that the British are on their way, the graphite drawing was created at the studio by the legendary artist Grim Natwick, and used during the animation process. The window area of the image is cut from the drawing, which would have been done during production in order to animate something on a separate layer, under the background. Measuring 8.5"x11" overall, with the character image measuring 8"x10.5", the drawing is in very good condition with minor page discoloration and corner wear.
